Conducted complex domestic and international investigations of violations of the Federal Controlled Substance Act. Daily activities included analyzing complex fact patterns, supervising and participating in both surveillances and undercover operations, managing informants, and preparing lengthy reports of interview & related analysis. Coordinated closely with federal and state prosecutors in preparation for court proceedings and testified extensively in numerous federal and state courts. Dismantled drug trafficking organizations operating globally and their respective financial infrastructures. Directly responsible for hundreds of federal criminal indictments and convictions of defendants, including drug cartel members based in Colombia. Trained foreign, state, and local law enforcement relative to advanced techniques used in drug trafficking investigations, anti-money laundering compliance, and undercover operations.
